Appcelerator and PayPal are building a development toolset described by Appcelerator as the first-ever mobile commerce development platform, the companies announced Tuesday.
Appcelerator, which provides development tools to build mobile applications, will offer a mobile commerce solution, called Titanium+Commerce, through PayPal's merchant channel. The partnership at the outset pairs the Titanium development platform for mobile applications with the PayPal Mobile Payment Library, also known as the PayPal button.
